Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
One Stop Promotions recognises its corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments and these are reflected in the following CSR policy.
Standard of business conduct
We are committed to ensuring that our business is conducted according to rigorous ethical, professional and legal standards. We reject bribery in all its forms from all parties including our Suppliers and Customers, in order to gain improper advantage in securing business with us. We understand that from time to time, gifts and entertainment are offered as a “normal way of business” but it should not influence or give preferential consideration in winning business with us. We reject all excessive gifts as these are considered as bribery.
Employees
We aim to deliver a competitive and fair employment environment and the opportunity to develop and advance within the organisation, subject to personal performance and business opportunity. We have ISO90001 accreditation, we are members of the BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association), and we are trade members of the Flag Institute.
We are committed to promoting a safe working environment for everyone . All our employees have equal opportunities within the company regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, marital status, disability, nationality, religion or sexual orientation. We treat our staff with courtesy and respect. Any harassment or discrimination on any of the basis as mentioned above, will not be tolerated within the company. We have also adopted the Modern slavery Act 2015 in our business practices as a continued commitment to providing fair employment to everyone. All our staff are employed with fixed contractual hours which meets with current UK employment laws. Any overtime which has been voluntarily worked, are documented and we ensure they do not exceed monthly overtime hours in accordance with UK employment law.
Customers
very employee is responsible for ensuring that any contact with our customers, suppliers and the public at large reflects professionalism, efficiency, integrity and honesty.
Suppliers
We regard our suppliers as partners and endeavour to work closely with them in order to help us achieve an efficient and transparent Corporate Social Responsibility supply chain programme. We will continuously monitor their accreditations and corporate standards to provide assurance to us and our customers, that our supply chains are of high ethical & environmental standards. We would expect all of our major suppliers to hold the relevant accreditations within their industry. Where our supply chains are from a small “Family business” based holding, we would expect them to meet local employment standards and hold a trading reputation which would compliment and mirror our standards.
Health and Safety
We are committed to continuously improving our health and safety performance in order to ensure that the working environment is safe and fit for its intended purpose. We regularly brief all our staff on any new safety measures and document them within our company records.
Community
We strive to be a good citizen wherever we operate, recognising our responsibility to work in partnership with local communities. We regularly offer support to our nominated charities, and have established very good working relationships with them through mutual respect.
Environment
Our objective is to reduce our impact on the environment through a commitment to continual improvement. The above statements reflect One Stop Promotions corporate social responsibility position. We recognise that our business activities have varying direct and indirect impacts on the society and environment in which we operate. We endeavour to manage these in a responsible manner. We are committed to continually reviewing our corporate social responsibility programme in order to ensure its effectiveness. We review our corporate strategy at least once a year.
Where it is possible, we will offer brand alternatives which are eco friendly or products which have less impact on the environment.
Scope
One Stop Promotion’s corporate social responsibility programme applies throughout the organisation, is applicable to all our employees and governs our approach to all our activities. We extend our scope to our supply chain and expect that our suppliers offer the same, or will be working towards promoting a safer, healthier and equal working environment.
Responsibility
Implementation of our corporate social responsibility programme is firstly the responsibility of our senior management team but is also the responsibility of all One Stop Promotions employees. We encourage our employees to report any business misconduct, or unethical business practices within the work environment.
